Jephson Housing Association Group manages 15,600 homes throughout the country, which are either rented or sold through low-cost shared ownership to people in housing need.
Jephson Homes Housing Association is the parent organisation in the Group, which also includes:
* Jephson Housing Association, an exempt charity, established in 1969 and is a subsidiary of Jephson Homes Housing Association.
* Marches Housing Association, also an exempt charity, was formed following the transfer of housing stock from Leominster District Council in 1994, and joined the Jephson Group as a subsidiary in May 1996.
All three associations are registered with the Tenant Services Authority, a Government body responsible for regulating the performance of registered providers in England and are also members of the National Housing Federation. Our Ethos are to treat people as we would wish to be treated ourselves.
More specifically we aim to :
* Provide high quality, cost-effective housing services in partnership with tenants, voluntary and statutory agencies.
* Respond to housing needs and take account of local priorities.
* Build good quality affordable homes which respond to local housing need.
* Safeguard our housing stock through careful maintenance and improvement.
* Build good quality, affordable homes.
* Encourage good equal opportunities practice in all areas of activity.
* Provide accommodation and management services for people with special needs.
* Supply tenants with full information and encourage them to play a part in decision-making.
* Report regularly on performance against key indicators.
* Forge effective relationships with existing and potential partners.
* Recruit, retain and develop Board members and staff with appropriate qualifications and experience.
* Make the best use of the technology that is available to us.
* Control and manage our finances to enable us to grow our reserves for future investment. |
