Hull Churches is an independent, locally based, charitable Housing Association working solely in the city of Hull. It works in partnership with the City Council, NBHA and other Associations to provide good quality rented housing in the city. Their first scheme, St Barnabas Court, Hessle Road, was completed in 1986 and their most recent, St Ambrose Court, Bransholme in 2005. Altogether they have 353 homes in Hull, for older people, single people, families and those with special needs to whom we can offer appropriate support.
They can offer a responsive and supportive Housing Management Service. They are based in Hull and know all our tenants individually. They can respond quickly to feedback from our tenants and we have an excellent Housing Management record.
On a day to day basis the Association is run by paid staff. Their work is closely monitored by a voluntary, unpaid Board of Management who also take the key decisions. The work of the staff and the Board is closely monitored by the Housing Corporation. |
