Helena Partnerships launched in July 2008. It was formerly known as Helena Housing, a well respected social landlord with 13,000 homes in St. Helens, Merseyside.
Helena Housing already had a great reputation for delivering its promises and making a real difference on estates. With the change to Helena Partnerships now it is more than just a housing company. About providing high quality homes for thousands of people & creating places where people choose to live, work and enjoy themselves.
The organisation consulted widely with residents and partners about the issues that affect them and the future priorities. The message has been loud and clear. Helena Partnerships has a key role in making better places.
The role of the organisation as placemakers is focused on:
* Providing the right homes in the right places;
* Making neighborhoods cleaner and greener;
* Building strong and vibrant communities;
* Supporting those people who need extra help;
* Delivering services that are accessible, responsive and local;
