Hebridean Housing Partnership became a Registered Social Landlord on 12th September 2006 following the transfer of the Comhairles housing stock. HHP is a charitable not-for-profit housing association governed by a board of 15 members.
HHP’s challenge now is to deliver on the commitments made to tenants. The improvements will not just be to the fabric of tenants’ homes but we shall build on the Comhairle’s excellent work in involving tenants in key decision through the membership of tenants of the Board and the Area Committees and working with the Western Isles Residents Forum and its constituent Resident Groups.
HHP can make a real impact on our communities over the lifetime of the Business plan in improving standards of rented housing, providing new homes and creating employment opportunities in the construction industry. |
