Halton Housing Trust is a not for profit housing association that owns and manages 6,200 homes in the Cheshire towns of Widnes and Runcorn.
Officially called a registered provider, we formed in December 2005 following the transfer of homes from Halton Borough Council.
We employ over 280 talented members of staff, including 80 trades people in our Construction Services team. Our Board of Management work closely with our Executive Management team to ensure that we meet our promises and main objective - 'Improving People's Lives.'
Committed to providing quality homes, services and communities, we are investing £250 million over the next five years to improve our homes. We want to make a real difference to our customers’ lives by ensuring our homes are safe, secure, warm and affordable and by helping to create better neighbourhoods and communities.
We provide affordable homes for people who may not have the means to buy or rent a home privately. We also help people who are homeless and support older and disabled people to live independently in their own homes.
We've been recognised by our regulators, the Tenant Services Authority (TSA), as a well governed, well managed and financially viable organisation. |
