 General Information / Background
Gundreda Housing Association was formed in 1968 to provide attractive flats for older people to live an independent life within a sheltered housing scheme.

The flats are available to rent and the outgoings are affordable to those who are in receipt of housing benefit.

The Association is registered both as a charity and with the Housing Corporation.

There is a Management Committee made up of local people who have relevant expertise and experience - all of whom give their time voluntarily to the Committee. The Scheme Managers, who live on-site, are there to offer help in emergencies and to deal with the day-to-day running of the site, including minor repairs. Open Mornings are held from time to time. These give you an opportunity to see the different types of flat available and to talk about your needs with the Managing Agent and members of the Management Committee.
