Green Vale Homes is a locally based Registered Social Landlord that started operation on 27th March 2006 with the transfer of Rossendale’s 3828 council houses that Green Vale Homes now owns and manages. The company is an Industrial and Provident Society that operates on a not for profit basis with charitable objectives.
Green Vale Homes is part of the Trans-Pennine Housing Group and works in equal partnership with Halifax-based Pennine Housing 2000. Working within this group ensures a significant amount of independence for Green Vale Homes whilst allowing both Green Vale and Pennine via the parent company to share some costs and pool knowledge and experience, creating better value for money through economies of scale. Trans-Pennine Housing provide central services such as IT, finance, development, treasury management, PR and marketing, and human resources, to both Green Vale Homes and Pennine Housing 2000. |
