 General Information / Background
GCHA (Gravesend Churches Housing Association), was formed in 1964 by members of the local churches who recognised the need for affordable rented housing in the area. GCHA has grown slowly and steadily over the years since and has established itself locally as a valued part of the voluntary community.

The association manages over 550 homes in Gravesham, Dartford and Maidstone. It also provides supported housing for young people and purpose build housing for people with learning difficulty and physical disability. It works closely with Dartford and Gravesham Women's Aid in providing accommodation and support for women and children fleeing domestic violence.
