GHA is a not-for-profit organisation with more than 90,000 customers and over 2,000 staff across the city. GHA is an Industrial and Provident Society and a registered charity that is regulated by the Scottish Housing Regulator.
We are committed to delivering better homes and better neighbourhoods that help create better lives for our 65,000 tenants and 26,000 factored homeowners. And we are also determined to provide better and more local housing services for our customers.
GHA aim to be an exemplary landlord, engaging, listening and responding to our tenants and homeowners and playing a central role in the physical, social and economic regeneration of Glasgow.
The corporate offices are based in Glasgow’s city centre and we have a citywide network of 63 local housing organisations delivering front-line services to our customers. These are supported by strategically located Local Shared Services centres.
Our future progress supports the government’s aspirations for a healthier, safer, smarter, fairer, wealthier and greener Scotland. We recognise the importance of transformational change over incremental change and of setting and achieving clear outcomes.
The GHA's 2006 citywide Tenant Satisfaction Survey showed that tenants have grown more satisfied with GHA as their landlord, but we recognise we must do more to engage and listen, respond to tenants' needs and encourage suggestions on how we can best improve the quality of their housing and neighbourhoods.
