Gentoo Sunderland provides housing management services to around 30,000 homes and employs over 650 staff across the City. The variety of services we provide for our customers is diverse - from tackling anti-social behaviour to carrying out repairs and maintenance.
Gentoo Sunderland is a 'not for profit' limited company and part of the Gentoo Group. It operates with its own Board, Managing Director and Senior Management Team. The Board is responsible for the overall control of Gentoo Sunderland including monitoring its performance and the deployment of resources. There are five local management areas, each with a 'Management Committee' made up of local tenants, leaseholders and independent committee members. The Management Committees meet regularly and are provided with local performance and expenditure information which they can scrutinise and challenge throughout the year, to ensure they remain on target. |
