Family Housing Association is an independent social housing provider based in Birmingham. We were formed in 1964 and now provide nearly 2,500 affordable homes for rent and low cost home ownership across the West Midlands. We also have a strong commitment to work with local communities and partners to make our homes and areas of our city, places where people want to and choose to live and provide a range of properties and services for people who require support and care.
Family provides nearly 2,500 homes for affordable rent and low cost home ownership, most of which can be found in inner city areas of Birmingham.
However, we are more than 'just' a landlord. We are committed to investing in creating sustainable communities, improving the health, wealth and happiness of our tenants and local residents. We therefore work closely with our residents and a number of partner organisations to encourage the development of a community where people want to and choose to live.
In addition, an important part of our work is supported housing, providing homes and caring support for young homeless people, older people and those with learning disabilities and mental health problems. |
