Family First Limited, a recognised charity and charitable registered social landlord, was established in 1965 with the specific aim of providing medium to long-term housing, care and support for teenage mothers. As well as providing this group of vulnerable young people with housing, Family First also recognised that other support services were needed to assist and support these young people to become integrated and valuable members of society. So in addition, the organisation established furniture and clothing recycling services and developed a 34-place Nursery/Family Centre designed to provide both high quality childcare and parenting support services for their own client group and the community at large.
Since then, Family First has developed into a company catering for many diverse needs of the local community in Nottingham. We currently provide the following unique and holistic range of services:
