Eaves Brook works across Lancashire providing affordable housing solutions and neighbourhood services to their tenants but also through the housing market renewal pathfinder, Elevate and local councils, they provide Neighbourhood Management to all homes in Accrington, Bacup and Clayton le Moors.
In 2007/08, the Neighbourhood Management team secured over £310,000 worth of funding for the communities they serve. Projects include:
• £100,000 of funding from the Single Regeneration Budget (SRB) for help with environmental and health related projects
• £180,000 from Fairshare Lottery to set up ‘Neighbourhoods together’ a social enterprise scheme that includes a handyperson service, domestic cleaning services, community branding and mobile cinema.
• Sponsoring a community police car that enables officers to respond more quickly to resident concerns.
Eaves Brook takes part in Choice Based Lettings schemes. |
