Eastlands Homes is a not for profit housing transfer partnership set up in 2003 to take over and improve around 3000 of East Manchester’s former council homes. With the help of grants from sources such as New Deal for Communities, we’ve invested over £45 million on improving homes and the environment, spending an average of £16,000 on each of our tenants’ homes.
An Eastlands home is more than just bricks and mortar – it’s what’s outside the front door too. This is why we are a key player in partnerships and projects transforming East Manchester’s economic, social and cultural life
As we believe local people should lead the regeneration, we have six East Manchester residents on the board that runs Eastlands Homes, alongside council representatives and others with business and local know-how. Eastlands Homes has charitable status and is a registered social landlord regulated by the Charities Commission and Housing Corporation. |
