Derwentside Homes was established in December 2006 and owns and manages around 6,700 properties formerly owned by Derwentside District Council in the North West of County Durham.
Derwentside Homes is controlled and governed through the Board which comprises of 15 voluntary non-executive directors who oversee the operations of the company. There are five tenants, five council nominees and five independent people, appointed for their professional skills and knowledge across a range of relevant fields.
