Dale and Valley Homes, is an Arms Length Management Organisation (ALMO) established by Wear Valley District Council. The company took responsibility for the management of Wear Valley District Council’s homes in April 2006.
We are 100% owned by the Council and are a ‘not for profit’ organisation, dedicated to providing quality housing management services and improving our customers homes to meet the Decent Homes Standard by 2011.
Dale and Valley Homes will achieve this standard with the help of an extra £26m of funding, which was released when its service achieved a 2 stars rating by the Audit Commission in March 2007.
Services Provided by Dale and Valley Homes are:
* Rent collection, dealing with arrears and debt counselling.
* Community Involvement.
* Enforcement of tenancy conditions.
* Managing lettings, voids and under occupation.
* Estate Management, Caretaking and housing related support services under the supporting people programme.
* Repairs and Maintenance.
* Delivering the Decent Homes Standard. |
