 General Information / Background
Cambridge Housing Society manages over 2000 homes and provides care and support services for more than 520 people. In addition we run a community investment service tackling non-housing issues which are important to our customers. We carry out a range of these services for other housing organisations and we work closely with a number of partners to ensure that between us we provide the most effective and appropriate services.

The Society is a charitable housing association operating under Industrial and Provident Society charitable rules. Our governing Board is made up of volunteer members from the local community and is responsible for the strategies and key policies of the Society. There are also sub-committees responsible for monitoring service delivery (Service Committee) and financial management (Audit Committee).

Our day to day operations are run by a professionally qualified management team. We employ a total of 300 people to deliver our services and they are based in our Cambridge offices and our residential homes and supported housing projects throughout Cambridgeshire.
