Bromsgrove Housing Initiatives Limited (BHI) was formed for the prime purpose to procure the Trusts new affordable housing development programme. BHI is part of Bromsgrove District Housing Trust Group and is seeking registration with the Housing Corporation in order to access grants and private finance to aid the development programme.
Bromsgrove District Housing Trust Groups key objectives (through BHI) are to produce 200 new homes by 2011/12 that promotes sustainable developments, social inclusion and community cohesion.
By working closely with our Development Partner, West Mercia Housing and Bromsgrove District Council we are delighted to have secured Housing Corporation grants of nearly £1.5 million for the 2006/8 bidding round, and recently planning permission has been granted for 26 new homes. |
