Breedon Housing Co-operative lettings area covers the Lakeside area of the Town, also formerly known as Breedon prior to the Development Corporation. It covers the area on the enclosed map. Lakeside is part of the Lodge Park ward of the Town.
The Co-operatives main developments are currently focused around Sillins Avenue. The Co-operative main management areas are Breedon Gardens, Margaret Llewelyn Davies Close, and Ken Somner Gardens. In addition there are a small number of Bought properties in the area.
The area of Benefit is currently home to approximately 1,336. In the area 32% of the population is Muslim and 18% of the population have a long term illness or disability in comparison to 15% as the average for Redditch as a whole. People are also significantly less likely to have a qualification in the area of the Co-operatives benefit.
The Co-operative currently manages 56 properties. Properties are concentrated on three developments. In addition the Co-operative manages a small number of disbursed properties in the Area. |
