Following a successful ‘yes’ vote, (the vote saw a 75.5% turnout, of which 90.4% voted yes) this estate transferred in September 2002 from Manchester City Council.
Located in the Middleton area of North Manchester, Bowlee Park Housing operates across a wide variety of communities. The area lies 6 miles outside of Rochdale.
Bowlee Park Housing owns 2500 homes on the Langley estate made up mainly of family houses and built in the 1950’s. The homes were formerly part of Manchester City Council’s stock and transferred to Bowlee Park Housing in 2002. |
