Description


Bournville Works Housing Society (BWHS) is a co-operative housing association that manages 314 homes in the Bournville area of Birmingham. The society provides housing exclusively for employees and pensioners of Cadbury Schweppes, whose factory is located nearby, and for the children of existing BWHS tenants. Bournville Works Housing Society has a close relationship with Bournville Village Trust (BVT), the major housing association and land owner in the area. Bournville Village Trust owns the land upon which the BWHS houses are built, and leases the land to BWHS. In addition Bournville Village Trust delivers the majority of the management services for BWHS under a management agreement.
