This newly formed housing association has been established to manage homes on Liverpool’s Eastern Fringe. Berrybridge Housing has taken ownership of the properties after a large ‘yes’ vote by local tenants in March 2002. Tenants in the ballot voted yes - 87.8% of the valid vote - to transfer to Berrybridge Housing. The turnout was 65.6%.
Located in the Dovecot and Deysbrook areas of Liverpool, Berrybridge Housing operates across a wide variety of communities. The area lies a few miles outside of Liverpool city centre.
Berrybridge Housing owns 3385 homes made up mainly of family homes built in the 1930’s. The homes were formerly part of Liverpool City Council’s stock and transferred to Berrybridge Housing in January 2002. |
