Astonbrook HA was established in September 2002, as a registered charity, with the sole purpose of providing accommodation for refugees and homeless households. The organisation has grown from a mere core staff of three volunteers, and one six-bed hostel, to over 50 full time staff and 350 units of accommodation.
In March 2003, Astonbrook HA expanded its services to Bristol. At the start of 2005, we opened an office in Easton, Bristol to manage the demand for accommodation in the South West. We are also currently working with the Emergency Temporary Accommodation Team, of Bristol City Council, to provide housing for the homeless. |
