Ashram is an intercultural Midlands-based agency which provides community-inspired housing and services. We are a not-for-profit organisation with charitable status and have been a Registered Social Landlord since 1994.It is a Housing Association providing 1,100 homes and culturally appropriate community-based services to thousands of people.
Although the organisation originally set-out to meet the needs of South Asian communities living in the Midlands, we have increasingly come to serve, support and empower a diverse cross-section of tenants, residents and communities. Over time, Ashram has therefore recognised the importance of moving from being a specialist Black and Minority Ethnicity provider, to a mainstream organisation working to meet the needs of a diverse cross section of communities. |
