Arena Housing Association, whilst placing a very high value on its independence, recognises its responsibilities to our residents, regulators, partners and funders. We welcome the challenges and opportunities offered to us a partner or agent of both national and local government bodies. But we are also acutely aware of the need to properly and effectively assess risk, and to manage the resources at our disposal to ensure that we continue to thrive into the long-term future.
We are determined as an organisation to concentrate the bulk of our efforts and resources on our core business. That is, to provide decent, affordable homes in strong communities. We are driven by a passionate desire to continuously improve the quality of our organisation, and the services that we provide to our residents and partners. As a general principle, quality is more important to us than scale. However, where we assess that new opportunities are congruent with our core business, add to the long-term strength of Arena and contribute to the sustainable improvement of communities we are an enthusiastic and committed agent and partner. |
