Aquila Way was set up by a group of Christian young people who saw the need for a project to care for homeless young people in Gateshead. Aquila continues to be guided by a Christian ethos and has been providing supported accommodation for homeless young women since 1984.
We now provide accommodation and support programmes for both young men and women through the work of four projects, the Naomi Project, Elizabeth House, the Karis Project and 58:12 Properties.
We are members of the National Housing Federation and Evangelical Alliance. Aquila Way is a private company limited by guarantee, number 5300083 and are a registered charity, number 1107554. |
