Description
Anchor is the largest not-for-profit provider of housing, support and care in England. The organisation's aim is to give older people a choice of great places and ways to live, by providing retirement homes, villages and apartments, care and nursing homes, specialist dementia care and care in the home.

Anchor was formed in 1968, starting life as Help the Aged (Oxford) Housing Association. Today, it employs over 10,000 people and each week provides housing and/or support to 50,000 customers.

The organisation rebranded from Anchor Trust in 2010, adopting a new logo and refreshed brand image. An internal restructure was conducted to help co-ordinate all services through a central support service and management structure.

Due to a change of format the England 2011 RSRs cannot be uploaded.
