Paddy Geere House, in the ownership of Abbeyfield Orwell, provides 36 flats for frail and elderly people requiring a high level of domiciliary support and who are existing tenants. Abbeyfield Orwell offers the Tenants their own private flat with security and companionship with other tenants and an opportunity to socialise rather than be alone. We undertake monthly social activities include musical movement, bingo, quizes, outings, organised by management.
The house is a small households offering private rooms (usually with en suite bathroom) and cooked meals. Residents enjoy freedom from bills and house/garden maintenance. Extra Care House scheme with on-site care staff (24 hours/7 days), non-resident management staff (24 hours, 7 days) and community alarm service is available.
