Atholl and Braemar Houses are blocks of three bedroom maisonettes, built in the early 1960s, and situated in the heart of Maida Vale W9.
A group of dedicated residents decided that they wanted the opportunity to manage, and improve, some of the services which were provided by Westminster City Council. In 1994, after two years of extensive training, ABC Housing Co-operative Ltd. was formed. The aim is to provide an efficient and accountable management service.
Membership of ABC Co-op is open to all residents over the age of 18, who have a permanent tenancy or lease. Membership costs just £1, and entitles to vote on issues affecting home.
