2010 Rotherham Ltd is Rotherham’s ALMO (Arm’s Length Management Organisations) and with 23,000 council house tenants one of the largest in the country. We have been tasked with the responsibility for managing, repairing and improving the borough’s council houses, investing £300 million over the next 5 years.
We’re a new organisation, with an exciting and ambitious vision for the future and real enthusiasm about what we can achieve together. We’re looking for a number of strategic staff who can continue and develop the high quality services to the communities of Rotherham.
We already have a good senior management team and a Board who are passionate and committed to delivering excellent housing management and maintenance services to our tenants.
2010 Rotherham Ltd is a not for profit organisation that is wholly owned by the Council. It has been set up to control the day-to-day responsibility of managing, repairing and improving homes in Rotherham. The Council will continue to own the housing stock and 2010 Rotherham Ltd will act, in effect, as a managing agent. Tenants will still be tenants of the Council. 2010 Rotherham Ltd has not taken over all of the Council’s housing responsibilities. The Council retains responsibility for a number of specific functions including, the development of housing policies, production of the housing strategy, homelessness, housing benefit, and monitoring the performance of 2010 Rotherham Ltd. 2010 Rotherham Ltd believes that the tenants should be at the heart of the decision making process and play a principal role in shaping future service delivery; we aim to also improve communications and liaison with our tenants on a neighbourhood basis. 2010 Rotherham Ltd will also deliver a continuously improving, high performing, customer-focused service to achieve an excellent service. |
