1066 Housing Association owns and manages more than 4,200 homes in Hastings and St Leonards, in East Sussex. In order to strengthen our operations and build on our achievements and potential, we agreed to become a member of the Amicus Group, and officially joined in 2002.
The addition of 1066 to AmicusHorizon has been mutually beneficial. AmicusHorizon has been able to learn from the experiences of 1066 and our staff. We have benefited from the advantages of being part of a larger organisation with a dedicated central services department.
AmicusHorizon helped us launch an extensive programme to upgrade, refurbish, replace and improve our existing accommodation. The Building Communities project aims to regenerate parts of Hastings and St Leonards, not only by making homes more pleasant place to live in, but also by improving neighbourhoods and providing increased opportunities for tenants. |
