Description: We collect every UK Planning Application and extract further details on any application relating to New Build, Conversions, HMO’s, S106, Office to Home, Basements, Lofts and Extensions.
How to: Planning Applications can be searched for using the following fields: Keyword, Local Authority, Application Number, Applicant, Agent, Postcode, Address and by grouping applications based on Local Authority, Applicant and Agent.

View results based on date of receipt, Granted, Refused and Pending applications. View statistics for types of application, by number of homes proposed and S 106, HMO and converted homes.
How to: Group Applications - eg. Search word ‘London’
- Local Authority - Display all applications in London by Local Authority
- Applicant - Display all applications in London by any Applicant
- Agent - Display all applications in London by any Agent
We have collected a lot of data and have built data sets on Planning Applications which can be accessed from the Data Bank (next page) and any registered clients can request bespoke spreadsheets free of charge.

How to: Select a month or leave blank for all the data we have collected in the current year.
The first section looks at statistics from Local Authorities, Housing Associations, House Builders, Top 100 Local Authorities, Applicants and Agents. The second deals with actual planning applications from Housing Associations, Local Authorities and House Builders.
We have access to the Land Registry Corporate Data Set and use this data to extract Housing Association and Local Authority titles. That still leaves around 8 Million records of Corporate titles which we use periodically for data scrubs and bespoke analysis so we welcome any ideas or requests.

How to: As with nearly all the data on HousingNet Planning Applications can be exported by registered users. If you can’t export it from the obvious places then just ask. All bespoke exports from data available on HousingNet are free of charge.
Description: All Open Data on HousingNet is the most recent available and this Brownfield data set is from 2011 so we are adding Strategic Housing Land Availability assessments from the Local Plans.

How to: From the map open the ‘Land’ tab on the right side and select an option. Brownfield sites are displayed with the size of the circle relating to the number of potential homes that could be built on the site. Hover over the marker to display further information about each site.
Description: The Planning Inspectorate supports the Government's aim for every area in England to have an adopted local plan. A local plan sets out local planning policies and identifies how land is used, determining what will be built where. Adopted local plans provide the framework for development across England.
